What it is and who it’s for
At Anchored Care, we provide Specialised Disability Accommodation (SDA) for people with disability who need a home designed for greater accessibility, independence, and safety.
SDA homes are purpose-built with design features such as accessible bathrooms, wider doorways, hoist systems, and assistive technology to support daily living.
We support people to find SDA homes across South East Queensland, New South Wales, and South Australia.
How it works
- We help you explore SDA housing options that suit your needs, preferences, and lifestyle.
- Our team works alongside you, your support coordinator, and allied health professionals to make sure your home meets NDIS design standards and supports your independence.
- SDA funding covers the cost of the home or building itself, while your daily living supports are funded separately through the NDIS.
What you can expect
- Assistance to find an SDA home that matches your goals and accessibility needs
- Coordination with housing providers and your broader support network
- Safe, comfortable, and fully accessible homes designed to promote independence
- Support to transition smoothly into your new home environment
