I’m passionate about building communities where everyone feels seen, valued, and empowered to thrive. With more than a decade of experience across community development, disability inclusion, and public policy, I’ve been privileged to work in Africa, Asia, and Australia, learning how collaboration and empathy can drive lasting change.
My journey began in academia, where I earned my PhD in Public Administration with a focus on Human Resource Management. Over the years, I have become a published researcher and journal reviewer on topics surrounding disability inclusion, social equity, and governance, contributing to peer-reviewed journals and international conferences. These experiences have shaped my belief that effective care systems must be inclusive, evidence-driven, and built on respect for human dignity.
Professionally, I’ve served in leadership and advisory roles with organisations such as Royal Care Australia and the African Heritage Institution, where I’ve helped design strategies that strengthen community participation and improve service delivery outcomes.
Anchored Care feels like the perfect place for me because its mission reflects what I believe in most…humanity in action. Here, we don’t just deliver supports; we create environments that promote belonging, independence, and hope. Being part of a team that lives out compassion and excellence every day is both humbling and inspiring.
Outside of work, I enjoy reading, creative writing, volunteering in community projects, and travelling. These moments keep me grounded and constantly remind me why inclusion, understanding, and connection matter, both in life and in care.
